It’s no secret that beauty brands are well-groomed on Facebook, so in celebration of today’s Facebook IPO, Poshly put together a list of some of the best beauty brand pages on that beloved social network that you should consider “like”-ing too.
#1: Chanel - With almost 7 million fans, this iconic beauty and fashion brand is rocking Facebook just as well as it does the runway. We adore how well Chanel uses Facebook’s latest Timeline format, with stunning large product images that are simply stunning.
#2: CoverGirl - Cover Girl’s Facebook page makes it simple to stay engaged; it makes use of bold “news,” “tools,” “shop” navigation links at the top. Plus, Cover Girl shares a lot of empowering quotes from its celebrity cover girls to make… life easy, breezy, & beautiful!
#3 DevaCurl - This is where ladies rocking curly hair can hang out on Facebook - 5000 fans and counting! We love how DevaCurl engages with its specific community online.
#4: Dove - With over 7.5 million fans, Dove is working it on Facebook! From inspiring quotes to featuring women of all shapes, Dove befriends every consumer with its page.
#5: Maybelline - Maybelline has fun quizzes and great how-to videos on its Facebook page. Plus, Shalwah Evans, Poshly’s East Coast Beauty Editor, shares that “when Great Lash had its anniversary, I was on the Maybelline page everyday for giveaways and new information about the brand.” That’s customer loyalty for ya!
#7: Too Faced Cosmetics - We love how Too Faced engages with its fan base; the energy is high on the FB page as Too Faced shares makeup, contests, and pictures that inspire. It’s all about getting the crowd talking.
#8: Old Spice - One for the [ladies] men! Old Spice’s page keeps up with the other beauty brands when it comes to number of fans, and there’s no shortage of entertaining content once you hit “like.” From hilarious videos to comedic quotes, this page gets tons of kudos on all its content.
